Project management at SPACE is approached as an integrated process that embraces our clients and the entire project team. Excellent communication, a pro-active approach to problem solving and quality assurance for on time and on budget products are the by-words of the SPACE process, which the entire process is enhanced by technology but never looses contact with the" human" element of management.

How is this accomplished?
Communication: Complex multi-site projects often undertaken by SPACE require project managers with superior communication skills. SPACE project management facilitates communication throughout the entire project team which usually includes: manager of corporate real estate, real estate broker, building management, client's local manager, architects (SPACE or others), engineers, consultants, furniture dealer, cabling contractor and general contractor. It is essential to keep the project team "talking" or details and possibly bigger issues will go uncoordinated, or sometimes never discussed.

Pro-active approach: SPACE managers are trained to schedule, look ahead and anticipate issues before they become problems for the project team. Through active communication, issues can be surfaced such as impact of furniture deliveries, long lead items or even political concerns impeding project progress. Owing to this approach, managers are leaders and not plodders at SPACE.

Quality Assurance: Quality is a by-word at SPACE. Quality begins with good leadership and contracts, and is integrated throughout the work process. Design and contract documents undergo peer reviews; however, quality continues to be supported by communication, technology and written documentation.

SPACE continually challenges itself, on behalf of its clients to work smarter and better. We have taken our management process and created web based sites that are shared with the project team. Through technology we are able to focus the entire project team, often spread though-out the country or world, in one virtual location. Through technology, SPACE is able to gain efficiencies and therefore pass them on to clients in time and fees.

SPACE is a leader in management and technology but it never loses sight of that human element to the project experience. Sometimes the best thing to do is just pick up the phone and find out exactly what your client or project team is thinking...
